My Review
I enjoyed this book immensely. My favorite part of the day was getting out of class, getting on the transit, and sitting in on the witty banter between the main characters. This book has the very essence of a Jane Austen book but with a bit of a sassy twist!
The only thing that caught me off guard was the small use of crude joking. That didn’t take away from the quality of the story. I loved the way the author introduced each character into the story. She did an amazing job with character building, the right amount of tension between the main characters, the emotional depth (of each character), and creating barriers and conflict to birth this great romance. The author also maintained a great balance between realism and a proper amount of escapism (for the reader’s sake). The book had me at the edge of my seat with the tension of the “will they, won’t they” dynamic between the main characters.
I don’t want to spoil this book for you.
Go buy it and read it!
